High Carbon Blades for Stanley #40
These 3/32" thick blades are a significant improvement over the standard chrome-vanadium blades that typically come with most new tools. Made from high-carbon steel, these blades are easier to hone and achieve a sharper edge. Additionally, the cryogenically treated A2 blades maintain their sharpness for longer. All blades are 7" long and are designed to fit 99.9% of Stanley and Record-style planes, requiring no modifications other than a simple frog adjustment.
