Watco Satin Wax is a quick way to achieve the hand rubbed look of a wax finish in a fraction of the time. It is essentially a liquid, solvent based wax that's applied like an oil finish. Simply flood the surface, allow time to penetrate, and then wipe off excess until dry. Although Satin Wax can be used on stained or bare wood, it was formulated to be applied over oil finishes. The finish will be a soft, satin luster which will also offer another level of protection and water resistance to your finish while also deepening the color of the wood.
