Description
Bright orange to red in color. Easy to turn and finish. The color ranges from blood red, brick red, purple red, reddish orange and pinkish red, and sometimes has dark streaks. The heartwood's color can fade with exposure to the sun. The grain is generally straight to somewhat interlocked, and machines easily.
