Narex Large Bowl Adze
Narex Bystrice has been making high-quality, hand-forged edge tools for nearly a century that are well-known to discerning craftsmen worldwide. Famous for their chisels and carving tools, Narex has recently expanded into the green woodworking tools market and now offers adzes, spoon knives and draw knives.
This traditional adze can be used to scoop bowls, saddle chair seats, shaping rafters, and hollow timbers. It is designed to be used with 2 hands. The blade is forged from Chrome Magnesium steel and hardened to 55 HRc for excellent edge retention. The blades are 2" wide. The Handle is made from natural Ash and 24.4" long. Comes with a leather edge protector.
