Description
This heavy canvas-backed graphite by the yard will reduce friction and therefore reduce the heat generated by your sander. Too much heat can "glaze" the surface of your wood and make finishing a real chore. Using spray adhesive to attach these graphite pieces on the platen of your portable belt sander or stroke sander will eliminate this little-respected problem. It will also extend the life of your belt sander.

Thick and STrong
Looks and feels like high quality, but I haven't installed it yet; Why? Well I withheld one star due to the lack of instructions and advice on the type of adhesive to use, knowing the heat from friction during sanding gets pretty elevated, what product won't release smell? smoke? toxic fumes? and the pad must be replaced eventually, so which product will allow for a fairly easy removal? I’m caught up in work and haven’t come around to start online research: I wish the seller or brand maker would provided a simple fast setup option.
