Inexpensive and effective
The eight inch Slotted Mandrel is perfect for getting inside hollow forms. I’ve had good success by crossing the strips of sandpaper into a “bowtie” shape. Use enough layers to get a tight fit in the mandrel slot. I secure my paper layers together with a drop of CA glue BEFORE inserting into the slot. Stiff paper is more flexible if you tear it into quarter-inch strips. This inexpensive mandrel has solved my hollow forms sanding problem.
