How to Use:

1. Select Your Wood: For the best results, choose a high-quality wood plank of your desired size and thickness. Ensure it is smooth and free from defects.
2. Secure the Template: Place the acrylic template on top of your wooden plank, aligning it carefully to achieve your desired design. The clear template allows you to see the wood grain while positioning the template for maximum control. Secure it in place using clamps or double-sided tape to prevent any movement during the cutting process.

You only need to cut close to the line to remove excess material; a flush trim router bit will be used to achieve an exact match.
5. Flush Trim: Use a flush trim router bit and a palm router or table router to cut the board to match the template. Set the router bearing to the template and allow the bearing to reference the side of the template all the way around. This will ensure that your wood is flush-cut to the template shape.
6. Fine-Tune and Sand: Use sandpaper or a wood file to refine rough edges and smooth out the board's surface after cutting. This step is essential for achieving a polished finish and ensuring the template's design shines beautifully.
7. Finish to Perfection: Apply your preferred finish—whether it's stain, oil, epoxy, etc.—to enhance the natural beauty of the wood and protect it from wear and tear. Let them dry completely before handling or displaying your completed wooden board.
