The Parsons Razertip SK Single Burner Essential Starter Kit with five tips may be small. Still, it's powerful and is an excellent choice for beginners or as a second burner for serious artists. It has the same power and circuitry as the SS-D10 but with a few differences. The SK can only accept one handpiece at a time, so you'll need to unplug and plug in handpieces when changing over, and it doesn't have the extra-low-end temperature adjustment. However, it can still accept all Razertip pens and accessories, as well as available adapters and cords, and it will also accept almost any pen.

It has a 10-amp output, providing the fastest tip-heat recovery in the industry. The temperature control is wide-ranging, from not scorching wood at "1" to reaching "red-hot" at 10. The super-flexible adapter cords (in standard or heavy-duty) can accept almost any pen brand, and the indexed handpiece indicator lights can help confirm proper pen and cord operation. The control circuitry is ultra-stable, providing consistent burns even when turned on and off and on again. The handpiece cords are removable and reversible, allowing extra-flex or heavy-duty cords to be used. It also utilizes laser welding technology.

The unit is covered by an unconditional warranty that covers the power supply for three years and The BHP for 1 year and the Tips for 90 days.
