These chisels are made by Narex from the Czech Republic and are of exceptional quality. The blades are made from fine-grained, nicely tempered chrome-manganese steel and hardened to 59 HRc. The blades take and hold an excellent edge. The blades are accurately ground and have a slim cross-section. These skew chisels are designed to cut cleanly and easily when trimming tenon shoulders and dovetail, when getting into corners, and when dressing end grain. Blades are ground to a 30-degree skew angle and have a 25-degree bevel. Handles are made from stained hornbeam and have a solid brass ferrule. Chisels come in a wooden presentation box.
