Narex 6" Carving Drawknife
Narex Bystrice has been making high-quality, hand-forged edge tools for nearly a century that are well-known to discerning craftsmen worldwide. Famous for their chisels and carving tools, Narex has recently expanded into the green woodworking tools market and now offers adzes, spoon knives and draw knives.
These traditional drawknives from Narex can be used by timber framers, turners, carvers, carpenters, and chair makers to quickly remove excess material to shape spindles, pegs, legs, carvings, chair seats or turning blanks or remove bark from logs.
- The blades are forged from Chrome steel and hardened to 55 HRc for excellent edge retention.
- The blades on the straight knives are straight end-to-end and along the entire cutting edge.
- Blades are 3/32" (3mm) thick by 5/8" (16mm) wide.
- The cutting edge is 6" (150mm) long.
- The comfortable stained European Elm handles are 4" in length by 1" in diameter and are angled away from the cutting edge for clearance.
- Overall length is 10-1/2". Comes with a leather edge protector.
