Mitchell #53 Abrasive Cord, 180 Grit, 12' Long, .040" Diameter Aluminum Oxide

Used to clean plumbers putty from pipe threads or remove rust or other buildup from pipe threads. These cords work on smaller metal parts as well.

Aluminum Oxide:
Tough, long life abrasive that is well suited for grinding high tensile materials such as carbon and alloy steels, and all ferrous materials.
