Description
Stringed instrument Lacquer aerosol is formulated specifically as a high quality finish for thin, flexible tone-woods such as those used on stringed instruments and made to withstand the expansion and contraction found in the unique construction of stringed instruments. Vinyl Sealer is also flexible by nature. Therefore, it is the only sealer that should be used under Stringed Instrument Lacquer. This combination yields great sound and empowers luthiers to finish their handiwork with confidence.

Great clearcoat
I've used this on 3 guitar refinishing projects, and it is the perfect clear coat for me. Just follow the instructions, and make sure you're wearing a respirator mask. You'll want to get 3 cans per guitar, just to be safe.

Mohawk Stringed Instrument Lacquer
I build custom electric guitars and, for an aerosol product, this lacquer is incredible. With some finish sanding and buffing it provides a high gloss, lightweight vintage style finish. I highly suggest it for any such project.
