These 3/32" thick blades provide a significant improvement over the inferior chrome-vanadium blades that typically come with most new tools. The high-carbon steel blades can be honed more easily and can achieve a sharper edge. Additionally, the cryogenically treated A2 blades maintain their sharpness for a longer period. All blades are 7" long and will fit 99.9% of Stanley and Record style planes with only a simple frog adjustment required.
