By simply placing this sponge pad between your hook and loop random orbit pad and your sanding disk, you have an automatic contour sander. If you find yourself frequently sanding contour surfaces like chair seats, trunk lids or even rounded over edges, the contour cushion pad is essential to your sander. 1/2" thick hook and loop pad 5" with 5 holes.

GREAT addition to my sander
I've had one of these for some time. Lately I've been removing old stain and wood to re-stain my deck this thing is TOUGH and has been a life saver making my sanding disks last MUCH longer by being able to better use the entire disk surface. I'm finally wearing out my original one so I'm buying replacements and also one for my 8 hole sander. Klingspor you are the BEST.
