Freud 10X80T Precision Crosscut HiATB

The F80 is designed to provide the cleanness, chip free edge in veneered plywoods, or for cutting fine moldings, or crosscutting solid woods when maximum precision is needed. Using new blade body technology, Freud developed a new line of saw blades that practically eliminates the vibrations which resonate in standard blades. This elimination of vibration is accomplished by a revolutionary new patent pending body design that yields the plate acoustically dead. The operating noise of these new blades is significantly less than other blades, and the life of the cutting edge is extended. This is because as a blade vibrates, the high frequency sideways movement of the cutting edge against thewood causes the cutting edge to dull quicker. By eliminating the vibration, this movement is eliminated. These blades also use our Square Tooth design of shorter and thicker teeth which reduces drag in the cut and the materials guiding effect so the blade tracks truer. Plus, the Square Tooth design increases the number of sharpenings you can obtain.

Application:

Use on all table saws, radial arm saws, or miter saws for precise crosscuts in soft wood, hard wood, fine mlodings, or picture frame molding or small run cutting of laminates and melamines.
