Beall Wood Threader Kit

The Beall Wood Threader Kit is a jig that works in conjunction with your small router or laminate trimmer to cut threaded dowels and has taps that are used to thread what will become wooden nuts or internal threads. Once the router is fitted with the groove cutting router bit and is centered and attached to the threading jig, wood dowels are fed through the jig with a rotating action. After the bit cuts the first thread, that thread feeds onto the threaded back half of the jig, making the pitch uniform. The internal threads are made by first drilling pilot holes and then inserting the taps. The kit includes tooling to make 1/2", 3/4", & 1" threads.
