May 10th: Eccentric Turning

Eccentric Turning
Saturday, May 10th: 1:30pm - 5:00pm
Instructor:Jim Duxbury
Dux Chuck: Many versions of eccentric chicks are available for a wood lathe. Usually, they are made of steel or aluminum and range in cost from under 100 dollars to many hundred dollars. Each one has its advantages, and the complex ones are almost a science in themselves. Generally, they are not intuitive for most woodturners. So I created the Duxbury Wooden Chuck - Now nicknamed the Dux Chuck
